I began my professional journey as an educator, earning my teaching degree from California State University, Long Beach. My first year in the classroom took me to the remote landscapes of Alaska, followed by a year teaching in vibrant Seattle. While I loved working with students, I found myself drawn to leadership and operations, ultimately transitioning into a management role with Sherwin-Williams, where I spent a year developing skills in logistics, team leadership, and customer engagement.
From there, I took on a project management role at a contracting company, where I was embedded at a major, well-known tech company. That experience deepened my ability to coordinate cross-functional teams, manage tight timelines, and deliver complex projects in high-performance environments.
Outside of work, I’m an avid traveler and lifelong learner. I’ve explored China, Japan, and much of Europe, always in search of new foods to try and new people to meet. Whether I’m navigating unfamiliar cities or rock crawling off the beaten path, I thrive in dynamic settings and bring that same energy and adaptability to every project I take on.
